If I Were - Learning From All

If I were a bird, I'd be high above all,

See the world beautiful as all seems small.

Stay up above and safe to be moral,

Away from the dominant as they are frugal.

If I were an ant, I'd focus open hearted,

Have no excuses for doing what's demanded.

I'll work together with no thoughts of results,

Follow lord's words to forego material results.

If I were a fish, I'd float in the waters,

Swim across the blues in the untouched corners.

Hidden from earthly who can't breathe under,

Live freely off the blues and safe from proachers.

If I were a cow, I'd be a symbol of giving,

Share what I have without beholding.

Be alive or dead I'd help unconditionally,

Live by the words to give and live peacefully.

But I am a human and wisest of all,

With a possessed hobby to own them all.

Have the brains to invent stuff of own,

My limits to self are left unknown.

Dominance leads my way to live,

Everything I do is own but give.

Competing lives give me the thrills,

It's easy to lie to win and have no frills.

They teach a lot if we care to see,

Un-owned creatures just roam free,

They are themselves and perform their role,

After all, we are wise and chose not to learn – but ignore them all.
